As a proud alumnus of ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ, Dakeya now serves as the Bursar with a strong background in student accounts, admissions, financial support, and administrative operations. As a graduate with honors herself, she understands firsthand the dedication, hard work, and commitment it takes to succeed in both higher education and funeral service.
Before transitioning into the Bursar role, Dakeya worked closely with prospective and current students as an Admissions Advisor, helping guide students through the enrollment process with professionalism, compassion, and a student-first approach.
In addition to her experience in higher education, Dakeya is also the owner of a tax firm, where she has gained extensive experience handling financial records, client accounts, and tax preparation services. Her background in financial services has helped her develop strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a high level of care when working with sensitive financial matters.
She is passionate about professional growth, student success, and continuing to give back to the institution that played such an important role in her own journey.
